Lisa Oberndorfer – Executive Director
Lisa Oberndorfer has more than 20 years of fundraising and organizational management experience. As a play chair for the Pleasure Guild of Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, she led a team of over 40 individuals to reach their goal of raising more than $225,000 for the pediatric oncology unit.
Chelsea Price – Director of Family Relations
As a mother to a child with type 1 diabetes, Chelsea Price has a passion for helping other families deal with not only the financial burden, but also the emotional strain diabetes can bring to a family. She understands the daily struggles and adjustments that are made by everyone involved in the child’s diabetes care.
Nancy Baldwin – Director of Special Events
Nancy Baldwin has more than 17 years of teaching experience. A native to Plymouth, Ind., Nancy began her teaching career in Indianapolis after graduating from Butler University. She moved to Carmel, Ind. where she continues to focus on elementary education.
Will Oberndorfer – Director of Marketing
Will Oberndorfer is the Will in Diabetes Will’s Way. Will was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes in November of 2012. Quickly, he realized it was his platform to help others. His first fundraiser sold “Willstrong” t-shirts and raised over $10,000 for JDRF’s cure research. Will helped to ideate and co-found our organization and has been the face for public speaking and mentoring other diabetics.
Drew Thieme – Director of Finance
Drew Thieme is a graduate of Guerin Catholic High School and is currently studying accounting at Purdue University. Following his graduation from Purdue, he plans on pursuing a Masters in Accounting and a career in public accounting.
Susie Ferracciolo – Case Manager
As a registered nurse, Susie Ferracciolo is knowledgeable about the medical, biological and physiological intricacies of Type 1 Diabetes. As the mother of a son with Type 1, she also intimately understands the emotional, psychological and financial aspects that come along with caring for a child who has been diagnosed with Type 1.
Chad Oblazney – Board Member at Large
Chad Oblazney is a graduate of Guerin Catholic High School and is currently studying Finance and Theology at the University of Notre Dame. Following his graduation from Notre Dame, he plans on pursuing a career in investment banking and high finance.
Chad has been close friends with Will since the 7th grade, when Will was first diagnosed with T1D and started Diabetes Will’s Way with his mother. He looks forward to the opportunity to help families in need and to help Will’s Way to continue to grow.
