Lisa Oberndorfer has more than 20 years of fundraising and organizational management experience. As a play chair for the Pleasure Guild of Nationwide Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio, she led a team of over 40 individuals to reach their goal of raising more than $225,000 for the pediatric oncology unit.
She was also instrumental in helping St. Louis de Montfort Parish raise approximately $200,000 at their annual gala, Mardi de Montert, by organizing teams of volunteers and promoting the event within the surrounding communities.
As a leader in her community and with a bachelor’s degree in social work, Lisa understands and believes in the significance of relationships. To her family, friends and employees, Lisa promotes a culture of positivity and hope.
As Co-Founder and Executive Director of Will’s Way, Lisa has been inspired by her son, Will, to bring meaning to his type 1 diabetes diagnosis. Guided by his maxim, “where there’s a Will…there’s a Way” Lisa has stepped into the non-profit world with a passion to help type 1 diabetic children receive better care.
